BOOK CONDITIONS

• MINT - A book which is in the same condition as when printed.
• AS NEW/NEAR MINT - A book which may exhibit very slight imperfections but which shows no signs of use.
• VERY FINE - A book which may exhibit minimal signs of wear or use.
• FINE - A nice clean copy exhibiting no serious defects, but may show some signs of use.
• VERY GOOD - A book exhibiting moderate to heavy use and may have some noted defects.
• GOOD - A book exhibiting more than moderate use. These items will be complete and may exhibit one or more major defects.
• EX-LIBRIS/EX-LIBRARY - A book or other item with appropriate library or other institutional markings, bookplate or other appurtenances.
• REFERENCE COPY - Readable, may exhibit seriously damaged covers, text etc.
